Bourbon Meatballs Italian


  • 2 cups barbecue sauce 
  • 1 1/2 cups bourbon
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup prepared mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (32-ounce) package frozen cooked Italian-style meatballs  (thawed for cooking)

  1. Cook first 5 ingredients in a Dutch oven on medium heat 5-8 minutes. Add the thawed meatballs bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer for about 30 minutes.


Home Made Meatballs  if you do not use frozen.
  • 1 1/2 pounds of lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1.4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 teaspoons of chili sauce
  • 1 egg
