Grilled Cheese Comfort food

 4 slices your favorite white bread (I like butter bread)

3 tablespoons butter

6 slices cheddar cheese

Preheat pan on low heat. 

Generously butter one side of a slice of bread. 

Place the  bread butter-side-down onto the pan bottom then add 3 slice of cheese. 

Butter second slice of bread on one side then place butter-side-up on top of sandwich.

Grill until lightly browned  evenly and flip over and do the same continue grilling until cheese is melted. 

Repeat with second  sandwich slices of bread, butter and slice of cheese.

Serve with your favorite soup, mine is tomato soup!

You can also add a slice of tomato in the middle of the cheese or a slice of ham.
